PowerApps Case Study – Reston SharePoint User Group

PowerApps was a hot topic at Ignite 2016 and other recent Microsoft events.  Much of the buzz with PowerApps has been surrounding when it can replace InfoPath Forms.  To show one use for PowerApps, Brad will utilize a case study of a project at a non-profit.  He will provide some of the user stories, design considerations, and show a quick demo of how PowerApps can be used with technologies such as Mobile, Office 365, and Azure SQL.

This event will take place on Monday, June 19th 2017 at 11:30am at Microsoft in Reston, VA.  The Microsoft Office is located at 12012 Sunset Hill Road Reston, VA 20190.

Speaker Bio – Brad Burnette: 

Brad Burnette is a solutions engineer with over 20 years of professional IT industry experience in successfully executing project from analysis to implementation. Although Brad is not a SharePoint specialist, much of his career has been spent working with SharePoint developers and administrators. Past projects, in both federal and private sectors, have involved technologies such as .NET, HTML/Javascript/Bootstrap, database engineering (primarily SQL Server) including SSRS and SSAS as well as BI reporting.
